Mrs. John Boswell
Dies; Funeral Services Friday

Mrs. John Boswell 51, life-long resident of Columbus, died about 7 a.m. today at the Lutheran hospital following an illness of two months. She had been confined to the hospital for the past four weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the McKown funeral chapel followed by burial in the Columbus cemetery. The Rev. R. M. Jensen of the Evangelical and Reformed church will officiate. The body will lie in state at the McKown chapel from 2 p.m. Thursday till the time of the service.
Mrs. Boswell, nee Ethel Warnick, was born Sept. 11, 1899 in Columbus, the daughter of John and Catherine Dietz Warnick. She received her education in the Columbus grade schools.
Her marriage to John Boswell took place here on August 18, 1918.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Lucille; four sons, Carroll, John Lloyd, Leonard and Robert; her mother, Mrs. John Warnick, four sisters, Mrs. Jess Boswell, Mrs. Florence Livingston, Mrs. Felix Kieltyke and Rose Warnick; and three brothers, Adam, Walter and Harry Warnick, all of Columbus; two half-sisters, Mrs. Eunice Nethaway of El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Brewer of Deer Park, Wash.; and two half brothers, Dale of North Platte and John of Norfolk.
Mrs. Boswell was preceded in death by her father, three children, a sister, two brothers, and a half brother.
