Norma Clark Healey Obituary

Norma Clark Healey 1918 ~ 2006 Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, 87, of Alpine, left this mortal existence on February 12, 2006 and returned to the arms of her eternal companion. Norma was born April 12, 1918 in Alpine, Utah to George Ernest and Belle W. Clark, the sixth of eleven children. She married her sweetheart, Marion L. Healey on June 17, 1937 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was late solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Marion passed away in Oct. 1999.

Norma grew up in Alpine, she loved the great outdoors and spent a lot of time in the canyon and mountains with her father and brothers at the sheep herd. She attended school in Alpine and graduated from American Fork High School and LDS Seminary. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church and enjoyed many opportunities in service there. When she was 21 years old, she was called to be the President of the MIA in the Alpine Ward. She later served as President in the Stake Young Women and was the President for six years in the Relief Society. She was the chairman for the Old Folks Committee for 30 years and always enjoyed doing for others. She loved music and enjoyed writing poetry and skits. Her greatest joy was being with and doing for her family and loved ones. Norma leaves a legacy for her family by her example of unconditional love and support.

She is survived by her three children, Sandra (Kenneth) Walker, Jay (Julia) Healey, Tamera (Stanley) Dubois all of Alpine, 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
