Florence: Feb. 4 — Mrs. Mary Ann Wurth Spellicy, 73, wife of Andrew Spellicy, passed away at her home here at 4 O'clock this morning after an illness of about a year.

She was born In Florence, October 15, 1865, a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Stout Wurth. Her marriage to Andrew Spellicy took place at St. Mary's Church here on Sept. 28, 1887.

Two years ago they marked their golden wedding. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and of its Altar Society.

Surviving besides her husband, are the following children: James Spellicy at home; Mrs. Norman Graves, Florence; Mrs. Leo Schuler, Mrs. William Schneible, Mrs. William Riley, Theodore and Andrew Spellicy, Rome; Mrs. Floyd O'Hara, Marathon; Mrs. John Smith, Westmoreland; Mrs. Charles Snow, Mrs Edward Bovee and Henry Spellicy, Camden. She leaves also 45 grandchildren.

Surviving also is a brother, Charles Wurth, New York Mills, and four nieces and four nephews. Another son, Thomas Spellicy, Mohawk, died in April. 1938.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. at her late home and at 10 a. m. at St. Mary's Church, and burial, in charge of B. A. Sanborn & Son, Camden, will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery.
