Ethel M. Knaub, 92, of Mechanicsburg and a resident of Bethany Village, passed away on July 27, 2018.
She was born May 31, 1926, in Lemoyne, PA, to the late Ira and Sadie Dahlhammer Albert.
Ethel is survived by four children: Dianne Harlacher (Donald) of Selbyville, DE; Donna Thomson of Etters; Andrew Murray (Jetsy) of Eustis, FL; Audrey Smith (David) of Dillsburg; and one step-daughter Kathy Thuma (Sam) of Harrisburg. She also leaves behind a sister, Blanche Lehmer of Dillsburg; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Ernest E. Murray and Richard L. Knaub, and three brothers and two sisters.
In earlier years, Ethel was a proficient seamstress and avid bowler.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 6, 2018, at 11:00 am in the Monaghan Presbyterian Church, 1185 Gettysburg Pike, Dillsburg, PA. There will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, PA 17013.
