Mr. Dowell was a carpenter and forman for Randolph builders for 30 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the One Way Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Crawfordsville. Mr. Dowell was born in Lincoln County Ky, to Leonard and Mary Oakes Dowell. He married Latricia Deck on July 5th 1952 in Crawfordsville. Father of three sons Harold, Ralph, and Carl. Two daughters Pam, and Rhonda. 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. And three sisters all of Ky. His parents, a son Gerald Dowell, and brothers Junior, William, Henery, Jimmy, and Luther are deceased.
