Services for Mrs. C. M. McLean Jr., the former Vennie Anders, 84, Lafayette, La., relatives in Tyler, were held 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Delhomme Chapel of The Flowers in Lafayette, La., with the Rev. L. Ray Branton officiating.

Burial was in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Mrs. McLean died Wednesday morning at a hospital in Lafayette, La.

She was a native of Dodson, La., the daughter of the late Birdie Chappell and William H. Anders. She was a resident of Lafayette nine months. She attended Louisiana Tech and Newell & Newell Sanatorium Nursing School. After graduation she did private duty in Tyler and Alexandria, La.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, C. M. McLean Jr. of Lafayette, La.; a son, C. M. McLean III of Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. Lola Ussery and Miss Anna Lee Anders, both of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Clyde Taylor of Winnfield, La.; a brother, W. H. Anders, of Shreveport; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ed Abell, Dwight Ramsay, Mayor Dud Lastrates, I. W. Russek, Harry Mathy and John Rettig Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Gerald J. Hubbell, Dr. Morris Hoffeauir and Charles A. Barton.
