Funeral services for Gladys Anders McCloy, 73, of 464 Ockley Drive in Shreveport, were held at 2:30 Thursday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel.
Mrs. McCloy died Tues, May 6, 1980 at Highland Hospital following a brief illness. Dr. Edward Thomas, pastor of Broadmoor Baptist Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. McCloy was a native of Dodson. She had lived in Shreveport for the past 20 years. She was a retired nursing supervisor at Highland Hospital and a member of Broadmoor Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Ann Miller of River Ridge; four sisters, Vennie McLean of Lafayette, Grace A. Taylor of Winnfield and Lola Ussery and Anna Lee Anders, both of Shreveport; one brother, William Herman Anders of Shreveport; and one granddaughter, Stacy Ann Miller.
Pallbearers were Edgar Murphy, Bill Sledge, William Hardwell, Tommy Hardwell, Mike Gilbert, Ray Parks. Honorary pallbearers were the doctor's staff at Highland Hospital.
