SHREVEPORT - Services for Miss Anna Lee Anders, 84, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 1989 at Broadmoor United Methodist Church Sanctuary. Officiating will be Dr. George Pearce, Jr., retired Methodist Minister, assisted by Dr. Odell Simmons, senior minister of Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel.

Miss Anders died Monday, April 3, 1989 in Winnfield, La. following a short illness. She was born in Dodson, La. and had been a resident of Shreveport most of her life. Miss Anders was a retired nurse and a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church. She graduated from Dodson High School, attended Northwestern State University and graduated from Highland Hospital School of Nursing. Miss Anders worked as a private duty nurse at Highland Hospital until her retirement.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Grace A. Taylor of Winnfield, La.; two nieces and two nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Goins, Dr. Mark Blackwelder, Kurt Schmidt, Edgar Murphy, Paul Miller and Matthew McDearmont.

Honorary Pallbearers: Highland Hospital Staff Doctors and W. L. "Sunshine" Campbell.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, P.O. Box 929, Ruston, La. 71270 or to the Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
