Amelia June Lewis, 68, born July 3, 1934 in Havana, Arkansas, died October 29, 2002.
Loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Jimmie G. Lewis and three children, Glen (Linda) Lewis, Donna (Dan) Schotter of Tucson, Arizona, and John (Amy) of Grand Rapids, MI; three sisters, Edith Cherry, Lucille Southwick, Evelyn Williams, all of Arkansas; one brother, John Wyatt of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Katie and James Lewis, Summer and Taya Schotter, Emily, Heidi, Sarah and Heather Lewis; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Ellie.
She was active in Casas Adobes Baptist Church. Her interests included sewing, smocking, and quilting.
Memorial services were held Friday, November 1, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the Casas Adobes Baptist Church.
Arrangements were by East Lawn Palms Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the Carondelet Hospice.
