John Wyatt, age 79 years, 4 months, and 19 days. Was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas April 17, 1871. He departed this life September 5, 1950 at 5:00 o'clock P.M.
He spent his life in Arkansas with the exception of 7 years in Texas and 10 years in Oklahoma.
He was converted when about 16 years of age and joined the Baptist church at Huntsville, Texas in 1894.
He was united in marriage to Amelia King February 28, 1909 near Ardmore, Okla. Eight children were born of this union all of whom survived.
Mr. Wyatt was a school teacher during his younger years, also a painter then in later life a farmer.
He is survived by his wife and 8 children.
