He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Ford Byrd of Philadelphia; daughters, Mrs. Lanortta Maxey and Mrs. Tonie Tullos both of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Wanda Dealing of Madison; sons, Eugene Byrd and David Byrd of Clinton, Tippy Byrd of Florence, and Billy Byrd of Philadelphia; and 14 grandchildren.
