Howard Eugene "Gene" Barnard, 73, of Hindsville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 17th, 2023.
He was born in Shiloh, AR to Corby and Leota Reynolds Barnard. Gene is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Faye Barnard; sisters, Hazel Murphy and Lavada Simmons; brothers, Ford Barnard, Dolan Barnard, Junior Barnard, JW Barnard, Ed Barnard, and Reese Barnard. He is survived by his son, Kelly Barnard (Kelley) of Hindsville, AR and a daughter, Carrie Farris (Trey) of Cave Springs, AR; five grandchildren, Maggie Barnard, Morgan Barnard, Abby Farris, Ellie Farris and Max Farris.
Gene enjoyed his career for 37 years with Tyson Foods and working as service manager. He spent all of his quality time with PEPAW'S buddies (the five grandchildren). You also could find him outside puttering around in his shop.
