Laura Fern (Bobbitt) Nowlin, age 85, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 14, 2018. She was born in Beaver County, OK on October 10, 1932 to Arthur and Frankie (Copeland) Bobbitt. She attended South East High School in OKC but dropped out at the age of sixteen when she got married. She was a Godly Woman who liked to sew, crochet and read her Bible. Laura was very involved in her church Hilltop Assembly of God where she directed the youth choir and was involved in their women’s ministry program. Her children called her an “Angel” who raised her four children as a single mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Cheryl Pearl and five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her sons; Steve Nowlin and wife Nancy, Jeff and wife Aggie, daughter Rhonda Stevens and husband Roger, nine grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and two brothers Joe and Elmer Bobbitt. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am Friday, May 18, 2018 at The Bridge Assembly of God, Mustang, OK with interment to follow at Red Hill Cemetery, Mustang, Oklahoma.
