Mrs. Pearl Wainright Sweat Cox
Mrs. Pearl Wainright Sweat Cox, 89, died Friday morning (Jan. 19, 2001) in Satilla Regional Medical Center following a lenghty illness. A native of Charlton County but had resided in Ware County most of her life.
She was married to the late Oran Sweat and Jim Cox, and was the daughter of the late Seaborn Wainright and Belle Teston Wainright. She was a member of Pine Valley Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Roegner of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Ernest H. Sweat and Wilbur Sweat both of Waycross, Wallace S. Sweat of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Lucille Johns of Nahunta; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 21, 2001) in the Pine Valley Congregational Methodist Church. Burial will be in Kettle Creek Cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6 until 8 oclock.
