A resident of Hinsdale, she was born in Chicago on June 9, 1904. Mrs. Thomas was co-owner of the Thomas Guernsey Dairy in Hinsdale from 1941 to 1965. She belonged to the Hinsdale Baptist Church.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Mardis I. Thomas. She is survived by her son Mardis E. Thomas; and her daughters Helaine (Arthur) Kos and Nancy Ellen (John) Temple. Also surviving are her sisters Helen Ehlers, Evelyn Clark, and Doris Duescher; her brothers Carl Carson [Carlson?] and Daniel Carlson; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien.
