Cora May was the daughter of Charles Tind Sorenson and Matilda Wilson.
She married Ray Corbit 17 July 1920, Phoenix, Arizona.Cora and Ray had 10 children.

Cora May Corbit 48, died at her home at 947 Cassia Street at 4:55p.m. Thursday following an illness of three years.
She was born June 9, 1903, in Montana. When she was a small child, the family moved to Idaho and settled in the New Sweden area where Mrs.Corbit attended school and grew up. In 1920, she was married to Ray A Corbit in Arizona.
Sometime later the family returned to make their home in Jerome and then in 1937, moved to Idaho Falls where she has lived since.
She is survived by her husband and the following children; Grace Blackburn Idaho Falls: Nellie Hinckley, Rexburg : Dorothy Brophy, Utah: Ray Arthur Corbit, California; Vincent Corbit, Barbara Corbit, Eva Corbit, Beverly Corbit and James Corbit, all of Idaho Falls;by the following brothers and sisters, Carl Sorenson, Dora Tunnell, Celia Enos, Wilson Sorenson, Theodore Sorenson and Charlotte Main, and Matilda Hartong, all of California. Her mother, Matilda Sorenson of California and 13 grandchildren also servive.
Funeral services for Mrs Corbit will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Seventh Ward LDS Chapel. Paul Brunt of the Fourth Ward bishopric will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Buck Funeral Home.
