Barbara Ellen Corbit Fox Healy, 62, of Idaho Falls, a former restaurant manager, died Jan 10, 1995 at her home of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
She was born Oct 10,1933 at Jerome, to Ray Alfred and Cora May Sorenson Corbit. As a child she moved to Idaho Falls with her family and attended Idaho Falls schools.
She married Archie Fox of Silver Peak Nev.,and they were later divorced. She married Bruce Healy of Boise and they were later divorced. In Idaho Falls she worked as a waitress at the Bonneville Hotel, as restaurant manage at Sandcreek Golf Course, and at Skyline Lanes.
She served as secretary of the Idaho Falls Women's Bowling Association, the Idaho Falls Women's Bowling Council and the Idaho Falls Women's Golf Association. Tennis was another hobby.
Survivors include her daughers, Ameilia Anne Fox and Kathryn Rae Fox both of Idah Falls; a brother, Vince "Bob" Corbit of Ririe; two sisters, Beverley Partin of Helena, Mont.; and Grace Blackburn of Twin Falls; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and her parents.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Thursday for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
