Elbert T. "Junior" Lake, Jr., 74, of Mulberry died in St. Elizabeth Hospital at 4:10p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2006. Born in Lafayette on December 7, 1931, he had been a life long area resident.

On December 6, 1955 he married Lillian F. (Edwards- maiden name) Lake in Lafayette and she survives.

He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and was employed in Maintenance at Rostone Manufacturing for 23 years before retiring. He was an Army Veteran, serving from 1949 until his retirement in 1971. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, flea markets, and cows. He was a member of American Legion Post #11.

He is also survived by 2 sons; James Lake of Dayton, IN and Elbert T. Lake, III (wife, Becky) of Frankfort, IN, 4 daughters; Elizabeth Ward (husband, Mike) of St. Petersburg, FL, Bonnie Robinson (husband, Kenneth) of Frankfort, IN, Diana Marks (husband, Paul) of Omaha, AK, and Ada Cochran (husband, Frank) of Sullivan, MO, and 5 sisters; Helen Brummet, Lucille Niccum, Lou Stine, Isabelle Simmon, and Lena Gillenback.

17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.

Preceded by his parents; Elbert and Ada (Whitlock-maiden name) Lake,Sr., 4 brothers, 1 grandson, and 1 great granddaughter.
