Mr. Ted Cherry, 76, passed from this life Friday, March 16, 2018, at his home.
Visitation will be held at Lebanon Baptist Church on Monday, March 19, 2018, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. Bro Harold Floyd will officiate. Burial will be held at Lebanon Cemetery.
He was born to James Hugh Cherry and Beulah Evelyn Cherry. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and retired from Howard Industries.
Mr. Cherry is preceded in death by his father, Hugh James Cherry and mother Beulah Evelyn Cherry, son Billy Hugh Cherry, brothers, James Cherry, Bob Cherry, Phillip Cherry, sisters Eula Noland, Ruby Weber, Dorothy Caletka, Bertha Carter and Helen James.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie (Smith) Cherry of Soso; daughter, Lisa Chisolm of Soso; brothers, W.M. Hugh Cherry of NC, Harold Cherry of Waynesboro, Willie Cherry of Oxford, Harry Cherry of Waynesboro and Larry Cherry of Buckatunna; sisters, Lillian McLain of Hattiesburg and Mary Ross of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Corey Cherry (Courtney) of VA, Tanner Cherry of VA, Evan Chisholm of Soso; great-grandchildren, Raylee Marie and Brenton Hugh Cherry.
