******Harriett Hazel Monahan, 81, S. Sycamore St., died Monday, Oct. 18, 1976 at her home. A native of Missouri, she lived in Fairmount for the past 78 years.
She was a retired school teacher in Anderson Elementary Schools, a member of the Fairmount Women's Dept. Club, the Fairmount Community Friendship Club, the Criterion Homemaker's Club, the Fairmount Community Bonnet Club, Fairmount Eastern Star and the First Church of Christian Scientist, Marion.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Jennie Campbell; 2 brothers, James H. Monahan, Fairmount, and John J. Monahan, Phoenix, Ariz.
Joint services were held for Miss Monahan and her brother, William C. Monahan, who died Saturday, Oct. 16, on Wednesday, October 20, at Hunt and Nolder Funeral Home. Burial was made in the Park Cemetery.
