Keith was born March 7th, 1925 in Cabarton, Valley, Idaho to Edward Warren Gifford and Edna May Vaughn. He was the third of eight children in a family of three boys and five girls.
Keith served in World War II.
He died April 27th, 1967 in Mountain Home, Elmore, Idaho. Although originally buried in Mountain Home, his resting place was eventually moved closer to his parents and other family members. He is now buried in the Emmett Cemetery in Emmett, Gem, Idaho.
