Mrs. A.G. Breland, 69, one of the pioneer residents of Jones county, died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.B. Rowland, South Wetherbee Street.
Mrs. Breland was born in Cherokee county. With her husband, she came to this county and settled in the Swans Chapel community about 30 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, L.C. Breland and J.H. Breland and the following daughters - Mrs. Oscar Gustafson, Mrs. G.S. Wright, Mrs. J.B. Rowland, Mrs. J.S. Aston, Mrs. H.R. Lieb, Mrs. L.B. Clary, and Mrs. C.C. Taylor.
Funeral held at Swans Chapel at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon, conducted by J.D. Harvey, minister of the Stamford Church of Christ. Barrow Furniture in charge.
