He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved fishing and spending time with family. He retired from Phillies Cigar after 46 years.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Howard Mott, Carl Mott, Donald Mott, Hazel Huggins and Violet Bitzer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Mott; children, John Thomas (Carol) Mott, Margaret Anne Craig, Mark (Rita) Mott, Wade (Carla) Mott and Lisa (Alan) Roach; grandchildren, Alison Miller, Kristen Salter, Dusty Craig, Justin Mott, Matthew Mott, Diana Sheehan, Jacob Mott, Adam Mott, Samantha Cole, Judson Mott, Krystal Vice and Aaron Sheffield; thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Bowdoin and Evelyn (Jack) Barrow and brothers, James (Bonnie) Mott and Lamar (Bonnie) Mott and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
