FLORENCE – Miss Martha Adams Ervin, 86, of Florence died June 4, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home. She was born in Darlington, S.C., daughter of the late Samuel Fulton Ervin and Jane Barron Ervin.
Surviving are her brothers, Samuel Fulton Ervin Jr. of Florence, S.C. and William Cowan Sr. (Elizabeth) of Darlington, S.C., sisters in law, Susann Ervin of Florence, S.C. and Ellen Ervin of El Passo, Texas, and twelve nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Janet Barron Ervin and Elizabeth Ervin Clarkson (William) and brothers, Jacob Barron Ervin and James Rion Ervin and sister in law, Ludie Ervin.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington and at other times at the home of Fulton and Joan Ervin 213 West Pocket Road, Florence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7th at 11 a.m. in Darlington Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Darlington Presbyterian Church Endowment, 311 Pearl Street, Darlington, S.C. 29532 or Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, 2350 West Lucas Street, Florence, South Carolina 29501.
