Funeral services for Jane Mitchell, 82, of Princeton, were held Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Revs. Mike Boyd and Gary Mitchell officiated. Burial followed in the Blue Springs Church Cemetery,
Jane Mitchell died following a short illness at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2010 at Princeton Health and Rehab Center in Princeton. Morgan's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Jane was born May 30, 1930 in Trigg County to the late Ben and Nell Harriett Roberston Adams.
She retired from Mid Continent where she was a spring assembler. Jane was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Standard Mitchell; and one brother, Howard Adams.
She is survived by six brothers, Waldon, Walter "Mort", Jesse and Elbert Adams, all of Cadiz, D. C. Adams of Hopkinsville and David Adams of Madisonville; three sisters Martha Lumpkin of Little Rock, Ark. and Betty Lou Herndon and Iva West, both of Cadiz; three sons, Blakely Mitchell (wife Barbara) of Caldwell County, Marvin Mitchell (wife Bettie) of Caldwell County and Jerry Glenn Mitchell (wife Kelly) of Cadiz; one daughter, Sheila Mitchell Hulsey (husband Roger) of Madisonville; seven grandchildren; 14, great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
