Elbert Adams, 78, Cadiz, died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Trigg Manor Nursing Home in Cadiz of natural causes.
Services will be at 1 Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Revs. Billy Joe Nichols and Brad Carroll officiating.
Burial will be in Adams Cemetery in Trigg County. Goodwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A native of Trigg County, he was born January 26, 1939, the son of the late Benjamin Adams and Nell Robertson Adams.
He was a life-long farmer, a U.S. Army veteran and a Christian Church in Trigg County,
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his brothers, Jessie (Linda) Adams, Cadiz, Decatur "D.C." Adams, Hopkinsville, Walter "Mort" Adams, Cadiz, and David (Beth) Adams, Madisonville; and sisters, Iva Nell West, Cadiz and Martha (James) Lumpkin, north Little Rock, Ark.
