Mortuary
The remains of Mrs. Grace Cook, nee Dunphy, were laid to rest in the family lot in the Grand Island cemetery Sunday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Father Heimes. Death took place, as previously reported, at Omaha. Besides the grief stricken husband there were in attendance Wm. Dunphy, of Salina, Kas., Ed. Dunphy of Wood River, Mrs. Mary Gassavon of Kansas City accompanied by her daughter and Cecelia Dunphy, also of Kansas City, all brothers and sisters of the deceased. A large cortage of Wood River friends also attended these last sad rites. Mrs. Cook was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Dunphy, pioneer residents of Grand Island.

On Friday occurred the death of Mrs. Grace Cook, of Omaha, formerly of Grand Island. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Humphrey (DUNPHY), now deceased. A brother is now living in Wood River. The funeral was held in Omaha and upon the arrival of the body here today, it will be taken to the cemetery where Father Heimes will conduct the service. Her father and mother are also buried in the Grand Island cemetery.
