Homecoming celebration for Mrs. Margie Mason, 86, of Wisner, LA, will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Apostolic Faith Church, with Rev. Virgil “Bo” Harris and Rev. Clay Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.
Mrs. Mason, a homemaker, was born on February 12, 1931, in Wisner, LA and passed from this life into her eternal home on September 21, 2017, in Wisner, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Adams and Clara Pickering Adams; and by her husband, Willie Allen “Buddy” Mason.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jo Ann Edwards and husband Buddy of Wisner, Christine Brown and husband Greg of Vidalia, Geneva Cupp and Frank Parker of Wisner, Deana Kay Trahern and husband Johnny of Wisner; sons, Edwin Dale Mason and wife Jenny of Wisner, Allen Mason and wife Donna also of Wisner; brother, Floyd Adams and wife Edna of Linden, TN; and sister, Alma Greer of Ruth, MS. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers to honor Mrs. Mason will be Deon Edwards, Brad Edwards, Tristan Trahern, Charles Ray LeBlanc, Brandon Mason, Logan Cupp, Kyle Edwards, Bryson Parker, and Cole Edwards.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.
