Muriel was born Nov. 20, 1932 at Grand Rapids, Minn., the daughter of Eino and Lillie (Kinnunen) Luoma. She grew up in the Grand Rapids area and attended school in Trout Lake Township. She was united in marriage with Harold Larson on Oct. 1, 1954. They lived in Minnesota for a number of years before settling in South Dakota.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her children and their spouses, Keith and Pam Larson of Sioux Falls, Harold Jr. and Penny Larson of Howard City, Mich., Carmella and Ronald Kortekaas of St. Cloud, Minn., and Susan and Mike Dimich of Washburn, Wis.; a daughter-in-law, Heidi Larson of Mystic, Conn.; four grandchildren, Rachel, Philip, James and Jason; two sisters, Maxine Daniels and Minnie Mahn, both of Grand Rapids, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: The funeral was Tuesday April 7 in Sioux Falls. Interment is Thursday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Trout Lake Cemetery.
