Marvin T. Luoma, 64, Grand Rapids, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, in the Itasca Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 14, 1937, in Blackberry Township, to Eino and Lillian (Kinnunen) Luoma. He grew up and lived in the Blackberry and Trout Lake areas most of his life and had been a Grand Rapids resident for the past 10 years. He had been a logger and had attended the Trout Lake Apostolic Lutheran Church.
He is survived by three sisters, Minerva Mahn and Maxine Daniels, both of Grand Rapids, and Murial Larson, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Melvin, and two brothers and two sisters in infancy.
Services: Monday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene.
Burial: Trout Lake Community Cemetery.
