Surviving him are his wife, Lillie; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Mahn, Grand Rapids, Mrs. Harold Larson, Sioux Falls, S.D., Mrs. Clarence Larson, Grand Rapids; two sons, Marvin Luoma at home and Melvin Luoma of rural Grand Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Hilma Anderson, Bovey, Mrs. Les Putnam, Pengilly and Mrs. Martha Nylund, Marble; four brothers, Reino Luoma, R.R. 1, Bovey, Urho Toivonen, Grand Rapids, Toivo and Sulo Toivonen in Finland; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the Trout Lake Apostolic Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harry Clemetti officiating and burial was in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
The Peterson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Edward Mahn, Harold Larson, Jr., Keith Larson, Michael Luoma, Leroy Larson and Roy Toivonen.
