Lillian "Lillie" Elizabeth Luoma, age 84 years, of Trout Lake Township, MN died on Sunday, Jan. 1, 1989, at the Leisure Hills Nursing Home at Grand Rapids, MN.
Lillie was born July 27, 1904 at Cherry, MN. She was a member of the Trout Lake Apostolic Lutheran Church at Trout Lake and has spent the last two years at the Leisure Hills Nursing Home in Grand Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eino in 1973.
She is survived by two sons, Melvin and Marvin Luoma, both of Grand Rapids; three daughters, Minerva (Lawrence) Mahn of Grand Rapids, Murial (Harold) Larson of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Maxine Daniels, of Bovey; four brothers, Art Kinnunen and Laurie Kinnunen, both of Pengilly, John Kinnunen of Marble, and Walter Kinnunen of Fort Collins, Colo.; four sisters, Lila( Arne) Antilla, Laura (Herbert) Point, and Linda (Milton) Kannas, all of Bovey, and Viola (Eugene) Clark of Pequot Lakes; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Petersons' Funeral Chapel in Coleraine, with a prayer service held at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Trout Lake Apostolic Lutheran Church at Trout Lake with the Rev. Harry Clemetti officiating. Casketbearers were Harold B. Larson Jr., Keith Larson, Kirk Larson, Edward Mahn, Steven Luoma, and Leroy Larson. Interment was in Trout Lake Cemetery, Trout Lake Township, rural Bovey, MN.
Arrangements were by Petersons' Funeral Chapel of Coleraine, MN.
