Grew up and was educated at Wolbach, graduating from High School there in 1946. Married D. Wayne Gillham at Smith Center, Kan., on June 3, 1947. The couple lived in St. Paul, moving to Grand Island in 1951. Employed as a clerk for the Woolworth Department Store which became Woolco. She retired from that company in 1984. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survived by her husband; one daughter, Pat (Mrs. Don) Williams of Harrison, Ark.; one brother, Jack Allen of Grand Island; one sister, Lois (Mrs. Arnold) Scheibe of Grand Island. Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
