Funeral services for Lillian Nell Stone, 89, of Waxahachie, Texas, formerly of Trigg County, were held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Blue Spring Church Cemetery in Caldwell County. Morgan’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Lillian Nell Stone went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2013 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born on March 8, 1924, in Princeton to Hugh Clint Adams and Icye Mitchell Adams.

Lillian attended Southern Academy in Trigg County. On June 21, 1945, she married the love of her life, Lloyd Odell Stone in Folkston, Ga. Their mothers were best friends. Their only child, Lana Colleen was born on Oct. 14, 1946, in Evansville, Ind. Lillian was a devoted homemaker skilled in cooking, sewing and gardening. She studied business courses at Southwestern Assemblies of God University and worked in the business offices and later Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Clint Adams and Icye Mitchell Adams; her brothers, Hugh Clint Adams, Jr., James Estel Adams and Charles Frederick Adams.

Lillian is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lloyd Stone; one brother, William Lewis Adams of Princeton; daughter, Lana Crawford (and her husband Ross); granddaughter, Candice Bolivar (and husband Al); great-granddaughters Lilliana and Clara Bolivar.
