William "Bill" Adams, 97, Princeton, died at 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at New Haven Assisted Living following a brief illness.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan's Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Franklin Skaggs officiating.
Burial will be at Blue Spring Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, he was born Dec. 27, 1916, the son of the late Clint and Icye Belle Mitchell Adams.
He was a retired dairy farmer and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
His wife, Margaret Mitchell Adams, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, David (Karen) Adams, Princeton; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Nina) Wargel and Nancy Lacey, both of Evansville, Ind.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
