TILLIE MARIE FITE
(1937-2001)

Tillie Marie Fite, 66, of New Boston, formerly from Lewis County, Ky., but due to her illness resided at the Vanceburg, Ky., Rehabilitation Health Care Center in Vanceburg, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

She was born June 10, 1937, in Vanceburg, a daughter of the late Jennings B. Fite and Tillie F. Thurman Fite.

She is survived by a daughter, Valerie Owen Frazier of Portsmouth; sisters, Wilma Shaw of Vanceburg, and Stella Toller of Manchester; and four grandchildren, Angel Fite, Owen Frazier II, Forrest Frazier and Jayden Frazier.

Also preceded in death by five brothers, James Fite, Jennings Fite Jr., Franklin Fite, Paul Fite, and Artie Elmo Fite; and five sisters, Veronia Dixon, Ann Toller, Vivian Moore, Opal Beavers and Blanche Applegate.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with the Rev. James William officiating. Burial be in Happy Hollow Cemetery at Ribolt, Ky. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to the time of the service on Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home.
