Emry Crawford was born in Long Beach, CA, April 26, 1925, to Donivan "DC" and Addie Crawford. He passed away in Bakersfield, CA, August 10, 2017.

Preceding him in death were his loving wife, Norma Dean Mills, and his sisters, Vada Bowles, Doris Mozingo and Ina L. Crawford. Emry is survived by daughter, Cindy Lynn Miller and husband David, and son, Donivan Chris Crawford and wife Kathie; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and brother David G. Crawford.

Emry was a proud World War II veteran, having served in the Army. He returned to Wasco where he farmed for 50 years. In his later years he was involved with the Honor Flight of Kern County.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Honor Flight of Kern County.

Chapel services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 9:30 am at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter. Interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
