Dorothy Lee Rhoten, 79, of Manchester, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster.

Born Jan. 14, 1935, in New Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Myrle Barnes Haines. She was the wife of Lester L. "Bud" Rhoten Jr.

She had worked at Black & Decker for more than 35 years. She was a member of the Westminster Moose.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Leonard Little Jr., of Carrsville, Va., Pamela Velnoskey and husband Douglas, of Finksburg, and Denise Little, of Hampstead; stepchildren Theresa Yeager and husband Jay, of Hanover, Pa., Sharon Schaeffer and husband John, of Manchester, Bonnie Haberstick and husband Randy, of Florida, and Buddy Rhoten and wife Connie, of Manchester; a sister, Margaret L. Bair, of Sykesville; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and two great-step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Ruth V. Fleming, Jane L. Owings, Ella M. Barnes, Anna E. Crawmer, Mary E. Stack, Catherine L. Shipley, James D., William C., Gordon E., Ralph E. and Walter T. Haines.
