Jane Haines Owings, 65, of Westminster,died early Sunday morning, Jan. 7, 1990, at home after an extended illness.

Born April 2, 1924, in New Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Myrle Barnes Haines.

She was a member of the Clearfield Bible Church.

Surviving are her husband Henry B. Owings; daughter Vanessa J. Frock of Westminster; sons Daniel T. Owings, David M. Owings and Gary G. Brown, all of Westminster, sisters Anna Crawmer of New Windsor, Ella Barnes of Texarkana, Texas, Catherine Shipley, Mary Stack and Margaret Bair, all of Westminster, and Dorothy Rhoten of Manchester; brothers Walter T. Haines, James D. Haines and Gordon E. Haines, all of Westminster; and two grandchidren.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas D. Fletcher and Son Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with her pastor, the Rev. David Duley, officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. at the funeral home.
