Mrs. America "Sallie" (nee Moore) Buford was the daughter of William "Bill" Moore and Mary "Polly" (nee Westmoreland) Moore. She married Abraham "Abe" Buford in 1865, the son of John & Elizabeth (nee Daris) Buford. See story of John Buford under her father, William Moore's entry.
