The son of Jacob Henry Crum and Barbara Ann Huffer. He married Martha J. Obaugh.

WILLIAM A. CRUM

William A. "Pet" Crum died at eight-fifteen last night at his home about two miles north of Parnassus.
He had been indisposed since last December and citically ill for the past several weeks.
The deceased, who was sixty-seven years of age, was a large landowner and stockman, owning several farms in that part of the country. He was born in 1865, a son of Jacob and Barbara Ann Huffer Crum.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Whitney Michael, Parnassus, Misses Viola and Cliffie, at home, and Elmer Crum, at Parnassus. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Props, Mt. Solon; Mrs. Jane Boward, Churchville; and Mrs. Joseph Landes, Staunton; three brothers, S.H. and P.J. Crum, Churchville, and J.A. Crum, of Aliquippa, Pa. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Crum was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of which he had been a trustee for a number of years, and in which he had taught Sunday school for twenty-five years.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at Mt. Zion U.B. church near Mt. Solon, the rites being conducted by the Rev. George S. Derrick. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

MR. CRUM'S FUNERAL

Largely attended was the funeral of William A. Crum, well known Parnassus farmer and stockman, held Sunday at three p.m. at Mt. Zion United Brethern Church near Mt. Solon. Ministers George S. Derrick and I.M. Burkeholder officiated. Burial was in the nearby cemetery.
Pallbearers were: active, John Horn, Paul Horn, O.A. Van Lear, Paul Saubus, Claude Rawley, Edward Burtner; honorary, J.W. Fairburn, W.M. Swink, R.C. McCutcheon, E.W. Halteman,, Theodore Halteman, J.K. Wilfong, E.M. Armentrout, Robert Clem, Dr. J.B. Sonte, E. Harlowe, Carl Varner.
