Theresa F. Slaboszewski (nee Nicklewski)
Age 99. Friday November 6, 1998 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born in Lemont and a longtime Joliet area resident. A member of the World War II Mothers Club. Past President of the Polish Civic Club, St. Thaddeus Mothers Club and the Rosary Club. A self employed Wedding Caterer. A member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Her passion was to sing, cook and crochet.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Slaboszewski (1965); granddaughter, Peggy Lee Davidson; three sons, LaVerne at birth, Frank Burke and Chester Joseph; two daughters, Rose A. Loiselle and Theresa Beverly Novak.
Survived by two daughters, Leona "Lee" (Ray) Davidson of Crest Hill and Joan "Sunny" (Bob) Hobbs of Shorewood; two sons, Val "Bud" Slaboszewski of Shorewood and Len (Carol) Slaboszewski of Joliet; 29 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; mother-in-law of Thelma Slaboszewski of Rockdale and Laura Burke of Coal City.
Funeral services for Theresa F. Slaboszewski will be Monday, November 9, 1998, 9:30 a.m. from the West Chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or Sunny Hill Nursing Home would be appreciated. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at:
