Slaboszewski, Chester J.
Age 67 years. Suddenly Thursday, May 7, 1992 at Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Lemont, IL and a Joliet/Plainfield resident most of his life. He was a retired trades foreman at Argonne Laboratory, 40 years service. World War II Navy Veteran. member of Harwood Post #5 American Legion, and the VFW Post 5819, Lemont, IL. Survived by his wife, Thelma (nee Wolfe) of Plainfield; one daughter, Shirley Slaboszewski of Plainfield, one son, James J. (Loretta) Slaboszewski of Lockport; one grandson, Michael Slasboszewski; his mother, Theresa Slaboszewski of Joliet; two brothers, Val and Leonard (Carol) Slaboszewski; four sisters, Rose Loisell of Los Angeles, CA, Leona (Raymond) Davidson of Joliet, Beverly Novak of Lemont, Joan (Robert) Hobbs of Shorewood; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Chester J. Slaboszewski will be held from the Gerald Dames & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Sherman St. Tuesday at 9 a.m. to The Church of Saint Anthony at 9:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted under the auspices of VFW Post 5819, Lemont, IL. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
