Mr. Leiker had been a Salina resident for 53 years and was a salesman for Rainbow Bakery. He was a member of St. Mary's Queen of the Universe Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1432, Salina.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, Ray Leiker; a daughter, Janet Morse; three brothers, Clarence, Elmer and Victor Leiker; two stepbrothers, Bart Schmidt and Jerome Schmidt; a half sister, Sylvia Waldschmidt; a stepsister, Melvina Gack; and three grandchildren.
