He showed himself as "single" on his WWI Draft Registration card (May 31, 1917). Also, that his residence was 1127 E. Washington, Santa Ana (his parents' address), but that he was employed as an Electrician by Pacific Telephone and Telegraph in Kerman, CA.
Sheet 220 of the Register of Deaths for Orange County (Film 1290114, Family History Library, SLC, UT) shows he died from "accidental drowning". His nephew, Carlton Mansur said (c. 1995) that this happened while diving for abalone off Laguna Beach, CA, where the family had a beach house on the old, now removed boardwalk. The online California Death Index shows his death location as Kerman, which was probably still his "official" residence.
He was buried in the Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, next to other Mansur Family members. His marker incorrectly shows his birth year as "1891" instead of his actual birth year, "1890".
(Bio by Darrell Mansur, son of Carlton.)
