She was born in Burlington, May 22 1918, the daughter of Fred and Emelia (Mercier) Gingras. Dora wa a homemaker all her life and a member of St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Her Husband Melvin, predeceaced her in 1975.
She is survived by two sons, Mark of Colchester and Hollis of George Air Force Base, Calif., on daughter, Mrs William (Charlene) Robinson of Oconomowoc, Wis., four brothers, Robert of Georgia, John and James of Burlington and Wilfred of Dayville, Conn.; two sisters, Angeline Bosley and Anna Bean, both of Burlington; nine grand children, Tim, Brad, Tanya, Jill, Michele, Billy, Quintina, and Elizabeth, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the spring at the New Mt Calvary Cemetery, Plattsburg Avenue. Friends may call at the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 N Winooski Ave., today from 2-4 and 709 p.m. Contributions may be made to the St Joseph's Centennial Fund, 85 Elmwood Ave., Burlington Vt 05401, Arrangement are by Peter Pritchard.
