Norma Adeline Buck Corbin, 95, of Nevada died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Story County Long Term Care there. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, of which she was a member. Burial of the cremains will be at Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Corbin was born in State Center and had lived in Nevada most of her life. She was a retired typist with Reuben H. Donnelley Corp. and a member of Ruth Circle. She enjoyed needlework, making quilts and crocheting afghans. She was an excellent cook.
She is survived by her husband, Lester, Three sons, Bill of Fraser Colo, Norman of Orlando, Fla., and Steve of Waterloo; two sisters, Zella Benson of Grinnell and Maxine Hindt of Bullhead City, Ariz., seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada is handling arrangements.
