He was formerly employed by Bud Miller John Deere as a mechanic for many years. He worked on the road crew for Menallen Township for many years. He was a member of South Mountain Antique Engine Association. Cot was very mechanical and could repair just about anything. He enjoyed working on John Deere tractors and refurbishing them for others.
Fred was the last of his immediate family. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by 10 sisters and two brothers.
