Miss Stern was born September 12, 1899, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Stern of Springfield. She was employed by Northern Pacific railroad many years.
Survivors include brothers, Albert of Lamberton and George of Sanborn; and sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Ann) Osborne of Minneapols, Mrs. Herbert (Clare) Powell of Long Lake, Alvena Stern of Washington, D. C., Mrs. George (Mary) Otto of Redwood Falls, Elizabeth of Florida and Lillian of Seattle. Nephews, Stanley and Harlan Otto of Redwood Falls will be among the pallbearers.
