GUTHRIAN --- Another severe affliction befel the family of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bell, on Friday, January 16, 1891, in the death of their son, Skidmore R. Bell, on that day who had been ailing for months past with lung disease. The young man was born at Waukee, Dallas county, Iowa, April 15, 1872, and was, at his death in his 19th year. The funeral service was attended at the family home by Rev. Sarchet, of the Presbyterian church and the remains were taken to the Linden cemetery for interment by the side of other members of the family that await the resurection summons. A large company of the neighbors gathered to aid the family in the duties of the sad occasion.
